Credit Limits International Ltd is committed to improve the teams’ working environment, create a relaxed atmosphere in the office, and make sure our people enjoy a sustainable work life balance. We have a sustainable and ethical approach to the way we do business and we keep our carbon footprint to a minimum by integrating modern air-conditioned offices, recycling as much waste as possible, and maximising the use of recycled materials and consumables. We use local suppliers whenever possible. We support and make regular donations to a number of charitable organisations and we organise local rubbish picking days.
Kent Healthy Business Award
Credit Limits International was awarded the Kent Healthy Business Award for having a high level of ongoing commitment to positive change within the business.
The following is a statement from the awarding body: “Gaining the Kent Healthy Business Award (Workplace Wellbeing Charter) demonstrates how well you treat and support your staff and recognises the high level of ongoing commitment to change. The evidence you provided and the interviews that were held provided overwhelming assurance that you are an employer of choice that provides a successful and happy place of work.”
The Woolly Shepherd
In order to improve our working environment, we decided to minimise the impact of noise in our busy call centre. We have found an original and eco-friendly solution: clouds made of natural wool from The Woolly Shepherd – they maximise sound absorption.
Shredfirst
Shredfirst is a leading UK secure document destruction and recycling specialist. Once a year, Shredfirst shreds all our confidential documents in their specially equipped lorry which they park in front of our offices. They issue a certificate of destruction and recycle the shredded papers. This keeps confidential data safe and reduces our impact on the environment.
ESEL Initiative
The “Esel-Initiative” (German for “Donkey Initiative”) was founded in the summer of 1995 with the aim of relieving single mothers and helping them take care for themselves and their families. We have made a donation to Esel-Initiative each Christmas since 2009. If you wish you can access more information on the charity here.
Faversham Umbrella
In January 2019, Credit Limits International ‘s Managing Director Pierre Haincourt had his head shaved raising a nice sum of money for Faversham Umbrella. We continue to fully intend to continue to support this great local charity. Faversham Umbrella support all vulnerable people regardless of the kind of difficulties they experience in their life.
Chartered Institute of Credit Management
Each Year, Credit Limits International Ltd sponsors the CICM Kent Branch Wine & Wisdom Charity Event by donating wine produced in its own (shared ownership) vineyard and is always looking to sponsor other charitable local events. For more information click here
